Taking the STEPS toward sobriety with Steve C. Ward

Steve Ward is the founder and Executive Director of STEPS Ministries, a nonprofit ministry with the goals of helping people improve their lives, grow closer to God, and prevent addiction. He is a writer, speaker, teacher, consultant, and coach in the areas of personal effectiveness, emotional well-being, spiritual growth, and the prevention of addiction and relapse.

Steve and his family battled significant addiction issues of their own. Since then, Steve has spent tens of thousands of hours studying and writing about how to pursue a healthy, integrated lifestyle that would lessen the risk of addiction.

He wrote the books "STEPS: A Daily Journey to a Better Life" and "Next Right Steps: How to Live Life Better" and publishes the STEPS Journey Blog and a parenting blog. You can hear him discuss a variety of important topics on the Next Right Steps podcast.
